Why do we need driver training?

There about 100 work related fatal injuries and 200,000 occupational injuries that result in ACC claims in New Zealand every year.
Vehicles are the single largest cause of work related injury or death in New Zealand.

It is the employers' responsibility to ensure all employees are trained in the use of any process, equipment, machinery or vehicle required for the employee to complete his/ her work and comply with health and safety legislation.

Actively participating in a Driver Training programme where the principle of accident prevention education is the highest priority, can improve driver behaviour and attitude and skill level. The employer gains from increased economic benefits, less vehicle maintenance and good workplace practice.
