4WD - ON & OFF ROAD

4WD Driver Training courses focus on the safety awareness of the driver, vehicle and environment and driving techniques in various terrains.

The following content is fully covered in both theory and practical sessions:


• KNOW YOUR VEHICLE -
  Legal requirements/ Type/ Characteristics/ Tyre Checks
  
  
• HANDLING CHARACTERISTICS -
  4WD RV/ Sedan/Stability/ Braking/ Cornering/ Weight
  
  
• DRIVING ENVIRONMENT -
  On Road/ Off Road
  
  
• PRACTICAL DRIVING -
  Hill Climb/ Hill Descent/ Failed Climb/ Gear Selection/ Various Terrain/ Braking/ Manoeuvres/ Wheel Placement/ Recovery techniques.
  
  
• 4WD Driver training is either OSH or NZQA Standards.
  
  QUADBIKE (ATV - All Terrain Vehicle) & MOTORBIKE DRIVER TRAINING
  
  Quadbike & Motorbike Driver Training courses focus on the safety awareness of the driver, vehicle and environment and active riding techniques in various terrains for both workplace and recreational activity.
  
  The following content is fully covered in both theory & practical sessions:
  
  
• Legal requirements
  
• Know your vehicle - Controls/ pre-ride inspections/ maintenance
  
• Safety - Safety gear/ behaviour & attitude/ passengers/ children
  
• Active Riding techniques
  
• Practical Riding

  TRACTOR DRIVER TRAINING
  
  Tractor Driver Training courses focus on the safety awareness of the driver, vehicle and environment and safe driving techniques in various terrains for workplace activity.
